lucky penny is a needle felting machine.

after taking a workshop with crafty mama sarah rosensweet, she ran to the closest supplies shop the very next day. with a bag full of dyed wool roving, extra felting needles and a book called little felted animals, a new hobby, er addiction, was born.

lucky penny is playing secret santa, again. three’s a charm.

once upon a time, boy meets girl. they get married, and have kids. she designs jewellery, and he makes it. niki & lola is a creative collaboration between angie tingas and michael proteau. it is named after their daughters, and inspired by how little girls (much like parents) are so uniquely different. sophia niki likes things that are pretty and delicate, and is sophisticated yet a perfectionist at heart. alexia lola is jovial, smart and funny, always raring to go, and independent to a fault.

she conceptualizes every design, while he handcrafts each one at his home workshop. they mix shapes and textures whilst remaining elegant but edgy in esthetic. all pieces are one-of-a-kind and hand-soldered using only metals with semi-precious stones. handmade in toronto.
