lucky penny is not the most adventurous when it comes to her beauty routine… 5 minutes (from day to night) is all it takes, because she would rather spend her time editing outfits. spoken like a true clotheshorse.

the winner… giorgio armani beauty—rouge d’armani 401, a gorgeous red-orange matte lippy guaranteed to turn heads, from the beauty counter at holt renfrew. tip: do not forget to sweep on some blush for balance!

she has worn the lip colour everyday this week (as advised by miss janine), and has been officially converted. what shade next?

weeks of going non-stop have definitely caught up with our girl. on the bright side, a wee cold is the perfect excuse to curl up under a williams-sonoma cashmere throw with a cup of tea and fashion glossies.

leafing through the latest vogue, lucky penny was transfixed by these *new* prada sandals for spring… pretty sure her credit card made a run for holt renfrew stat. their bold colors and woven leather transported her to some fabulous, sun-drenched mediterranean oasis with cute boyfriend.

lucky penny is back at it after a superb holiday break. ringing in the new year with cute boyfriend and all her favourites in one room, aka veuve and jägermeister, she danced the night away like it was 1999.

the following morning, however, was an entirely different scenario. no matter, nothing gets our girl out of bed like the beckoning call of retail therapy.

after grabbing a quick bite and a coffee to go, lucky penny found herself strolling the sidewalks of bloor. happy new year holt renfrew, pink tartan and anthropologie! we meet again…

with pumping beats coming out of aritzia, lucky penny could not help herself but pop in. a good thing she did, too! she scored this beauty: wilfred free wrap jacket in navajo (pictured above), but her inner plain jane bought the heather taupe instead. following fall 2010 trends, this wrap’s native-american tribal patterns echo the boho prints seen on the runways of pucci and cavalli.

and not a moment too soon right, lovelies? after a mild break, it seems that snow has returned to taunt, and remind us that spring is still a few months away. zut alors!

lucky penny thought it happened innocently enough… when cute boyfriend popped the question, “out of cologne, baby. will you help me find a new one?”

for lucky penny, this was a big deal… finding a scent is *very* personal. however, she knew exactly where to go: holt renfrew.

there, she picked up marc jacobs’ bang, his *new* men’s fragrance. it features spicy pepper notes balanced by soft and warm woodsy undertones. meet sex in a bottle.

cute boyfriend loves how the bottle is strong enough to be tossed in a hockey bag. while his girl loves nuzzling into his neck. clearly a win-win!
