she *successfully* completed her 29-day challenge at misfitstudio… 29 classes of yoga, pilates and reformer in 22 days. our girl is hardcore, baby. #killinit

founded by amber joliat, the charming studio is tucked away off an alleyway on queen street west. beautiful interior skylights greet every sun salutation, but the rock n’ roll soundtrack (or a whitney tribute) inspire “panther plank push-ups”.

lucky penny’s favourite classes are fusion, method, punch drunk (as in pilates + boxing = piloxing), reformer jump and restorative yoga… all taught by fellow misfits, lindsay, keri and david. there is even a broga class for cute boyfriend, and baby mamma one for her sister, too.

it was inevitable, after a slew of weddings two years ago, that a rush of baby showers would follow suit. our girl is now on the lookout for unique pressies that will make *new* mommy and daddy’s eyes light up.

she recently visited her dear lovely’s little guy, and knew that a onesie would simply not do. lucky penny went straight to mini mioche, and got him a pair of frye harness booties, just like mama.

these soft leather booties are modeled after the original, right down to the brass ring details, but have velcro to make it easier to get on and off tiny feet. they also come in plum and pink for wee biker chicks.

what better way to spend family day than with a *friendly* game of bowling? she piled the kids into her car, and took a wee road trip to all star interactive.
