plastichic

22 Comments 26 November 2010

lucky penny has a problem. she is afflicted with an incurable case of “10-min late syndrome”. thankfully, there is a cure.

housed in a beautiful little test tube, a plastichic watch is the antidote… in 19 colours and 2 styles. easy to coordinate with any outfit, and remind her of a 1st grade obsession with gummy bracelets.

***psst… blog birthday week celebrations continue… available at the bay, penny claus knows that the *new* crystal frame timepiece is a holiday wish list must-have.

leave a comment below, tell us the best stocking stuffer you have ever received… and win 1 of 2 watches! [contest now closed.]

a homemade braclet by my daughter was the best.

  2. rachel says:

the best was actually peanuts! we were super broke one christmas, and my dad filled our stockings with peanuts and few chocolates on top. for some reason, we were all so happy cracking peanuts and the floor was covered in peanut shells. lol.

not your typical stocking stuffer, but my best one was my engagement ring.

  6. simon says:

my girlfriend found a candy i love from childhood that i thought they discontinued, and put it in my stocking. sweetest thing ever!

wow, all of those items were stocking stuffers?! mine has to be one that my sister got me, she gets me great things especially sweet treats like snowballs or white chocolate maltesers.

  12. man, i used to get great stocking stuffers as a kid now i just get a bunch of oranges, choco bars, and tooth paste… i don’t mind so much, since i like to give more and wouldn’t mind stocking one of these in someone’s stocking to give them the best stocking stuffer ever ever.

the best stocking stuffer i ever got was a plane ticket to europe.

  14. karen h. says:

my favourite stocking stuffer was a hand knit cowl from my mom!

  15. melissa content says:

the best stocking stuffer i ever received was a year’s supply of skittles. knowing they’re my kryptonite my dad bought even more than could fit into my (very large, very expandable) stocking. each bag individually wrapped! my mom and i enjoyed sharing evenings & our mutually adored kryptonite together for an entire year.

  16. gilly says:

the best stocking stuffer i ever received was a pair of bandless earwarmers. you just pop them on top of your ears, and they keep your ears warm without sliding around or messing up your hair. *love* it’s not the sexiest gift ever, but i think they so essential for appearing put-together during our long toronto winters!

  17. a. smith says:

the best stocking stuffer i ever received was a handmade ornament from my grandmother. it always reminds me of her love at christmas time :)

  18. robi says:

best stocking stuffer — well i never had a stocking, but the best gift like that was a card with $10 U.S. from my aunt who had no money, but wanted to help towards my tuition.

  19. rebecca s. says:

it may be sentimental but the best was (and is) a mandarin orange.

  20. wittman says:

2 clementines! mom always told us the story of how they couldn’t get fresh clementines in the winter when and where she grew up, and helped make us understand how special they were in winter, and how lucky we were to have the life she helped provide for us. fruity sticky fun and a life lesson!

  21. j says:

a hand-knit scarf from my mum … she doesn’t knit very often, and it took her a long time. it’s like wearing a hug :)

  22. daniel says:

the best stocking stuffer i ever received was a tin of cookies that my mother made herself. she stuffed the tin into my stocking! the tin was so large it ripped my stocking, but i did not care.

she made all my favorites that year: fig cookies, pineapple pinwheels, chewy almond cookies, homemade biscottis, these greek cookies i forgot the name of, and sugar cookies.

    i love my mom! :-)
