lucky penny raised a glass (or two, tee-hee!) to toast the end of fashion week… like the prosecco and peroni served between the two david dixon shows. *nods approvingly*
while his super cute barbie collection was straight out of ’60s mod carnaby street, lucky penny always appreciated the designer’s namesake collection… pairing simple silhouettes with interesting textiles.
the fall collection, a mostly muted colour palette of black and grey, saw influences from africa, india and spain. structured satin bodices gave way to floor-length skirts of chiffon or feathers.
she especially loved the multiple spaghetti straps on dresses and a fitted halter top. mirrors and fur were lovely little accents.
